I have an opportunity to pick up a used Edge Attitude and Juice for a very reasonable price, about the same as a 2 gauge pillar mount. I want the aAtitude mostly for monitoring EGT and boost (I like the compact package over the gauge pods), the power would be a plus untill I can shell out for the DP. Then I would probably set the Edge to the lowest setting to minimize it's impact. Has anyone tried this before? Thanks
i'd want it for gauges only, the juice would be nice untill I get the DP then I'd want it gone as much as possible. It's my understanding that you cannot mointor EGT's with the attitude without the Juice installed.
I stacked an edge attitude with juice onto a super chips tune it did increase the HP a lot but I didnt like how the 2 tuners controled the shifts when I set the edge in the higher settings out of the 5 tunes it would hold the tranny back from shifting and let it rev out farther I have the edge juice with attitude all ready to go email at hondamxracer77_9@yahoo.com if intrested I have it listed in the classified as well
I Currently Run An Edge Juice W/ Attitude And The Good News For You Is That You Have The Option With The Attitude Monitor To Set The Module To "0" Which Means No Tune Affecting The Truck...so It Would Work As Just A Set Of Three Gauges
Rpm
Exhaust Temp
Boost
You Are Correct In Thinking That The Juice Module Must Be Installed To Run The Attitude Monitor
PoWeRsTrOkEdF250 what you had happen would NOT be caused by the Juice with Attitude. The Juice DOES NOT make ANY changes to the transmission as it does not interface with the side of the computer that controls the tranny. It does on a 6.0L but not a 7.3L.
yes I understand that what I dont is why it would do it with the edge stacked with the super chip but when it was on the 0 setting or out of the truck like it is now that it wouldnt
