We're about to rip-out the full leaf spring suspension in favor of a 4-link coilover in the front and a 1/4 elliptical leaf system in the rear. It's like having an enclosed, trail capable, go-cart.
I am currently building a Zenith 601XL airplane, two seats, all metal riveted construction. The car/truck part of the project is that it will be powered by a converted Chevy Corvair engine. This combination is called a "ZenVair".

There are some really cool home-builts around today and the 601XL is one of them. Have fun!

I just bought a 67 F100 that's wrecked in the right front corner.It has minor rust on the cab corners but the rest of it is solid.I'm rounding up the parts to make it road worthy as I'd like to drive it some this summer.It will take a couple years to get it like I want it. Only other vehicle project I have this summer is to cut up 3 parts trucks.
[QUOTE=Fordzlla]I just finished rebuilding/ restoring a 75 yamaha dt 250 enduro bike
It was easy and enjoyable because there were millions of them built and parts are plentiful and cheap
I had one of them for a few yrs I hit a dog at 60mph on it when I was 17 and destroyed my left ankle for life.I just finished cleaning up a pair of 75 dt 125 that where given to me sold the pair for $750 to a cusomer.A friend just got a 74 ct 175 from his brother who got it new when he was in the military and was stationed in Ariz the bike has like 2000 orig miles and looks like it just came off the show room floor,lucky dog.
I was tired when I wrote that last post and forgot about my other summer vehicle project.I have to rebuild the engine in a 1931 Ahrens-Fox fire truck for the local VFD.Gonna be a long project as most of the parts have to be custom made but like old Ford trucks I'm also quite fond of old fire trucks.It's gonna be fun.
projects allmost done, totaly restored an 85 freightliner alil more interer work and she's finaly done after almost 60grand over the last 5 years. next 4/65 nuffield tractor just waitin for a nice pretty day so i can throw on the last coat of paint and ofcorse we're never done with our old trucks so my 71 is a driver but always upgrading this or that
We are restoring an old fiberglass tub beach buggy. Our dad and his dad built it back in 67 or so when dad was around 9 years old. So it has sat in a garage for the past 15 years after my grandad got sick. We got it all repainted and cleaned up and we just got to finish rebuilding the motor and we will be good to go.
Its not a ford product but I been keeping an eye on a government auction for a old cargo truck. So if I get that, my summer project will be stopped and the truck will be my new project. Supposed to have a multifuel Inline 5 diesel engine, 5 spd standard transmission, 6x6 axles, and I belive its 7:1 axle ratio. Includes a 4 ton winch I think the description disclosed.
