Anyone know what he factory plugs are? Motorcraft? I bought this used and I am almost positive that he had a major tune up about 6000 miles before I bought it, so maybe changing the plugs is a non issue if I can determine if they are in fact replacements and not factory
Aaron- how many miles on your X? I have 106 on my 2000 V10 and have not changed the plugs. Seems like the p.o. might have, as he did regular maintenance, but he didn't for sure remember doing it. So far no missing or anything like that. I guess I could always pull one and see how they look.
The stock plugs are motorcraft. Look at the base of the plug, if you pull one. If it's rusty, it's the original. If it's zinc-plated (galvanized), they are replacement.
Also, post the number here. If it's an original number, or a replacement, we can find out.
