I voted for Watson Park here in Wichita and Montana Mike's in Emporia. Just 'cause I'm sort of lazy, I'd like Watson Park, but if someone wants to drive to Emporia and let me tag along, I'll buy the gas.
I'm going to be busy weekend of May 12-13. Working Saturday AM, already have plans for that evening, and out of town Sunday.
Yup! Mommies day is the second Sunday and Memorial Day is the last Monday.
Could go ahead and have it on the second saturday if it's in Wichita or close.
If we have it at Tuttle, a group of FTE guys do that the third weekend every month so we could combine the two and even add a practice pre Colorado camp trip.
I'd like to do an Emporia one sometime this summer. This month would be bad for me though. Maybe in July when it's to hot do anything except cruise with the AC on.
I would love to see the June gtg at the Spangles car show. I want to bring out my Galaxie but I haven't gotten the motor mounts installed or the transmission fixed yet. I hope to have it ready soon though.
I'm going to call an end to this poll. Watson Park is the winner with MM a close second. I'll check tomorrow and see if any of the shelters are available. I'll start with Saturday the 12th. If no shelters are available or in case of bad weather I really think we should go to MM.
All the shelters are reserved for this Saturday. Seems I saw something about River Fest starting this Saturday also. If thats the case and they have events going on at Watson park folks will be packed in like sardines in a can.
We can still give it a try it you guys want. That is is the weather forcast holds. Let me know your thoughts.
