T170FT TOD Strong enough?
Hello, I'd like to mate a T170FT TOD Code RTS overdrive transmission to a Cummins 4BT. The Cummins produces 120hp and 265 ft/lbs of torque. What is the rating on this trans? Will it hold up to the torque and vibration of the diesel? Setup is for a daily driver 73 F100 currently using a 3.03 non overdrive (slow!slow!slow!) Thank you.
