Hi everyone,

My brother has a problem with his f150. he has the i6 with a t170ft transmission. The part that the gear shift lever goes into, its a bowl with 2 slots, is broken and he can't find a replacement. He has tried the local ford dealer but the truck is too old for them to have anything.

I figured you guys would know of a place that has parts or maybe rebuilds transmissions like his and may have spares that he could buy.

Any recommendations?

Probably a junkyard part based on prior posts on this subject.

I take it you have the top shifted model with the shifter mechanism in the cover, vs. the turret to the rear of the cover or the external side shifting set up?
