460 in bronco

Can't answer your exact questions, but here's 2 things to find out about. I'm thinking the output shaft of the lincoln tranny has to be changed to mount the t-case. Another thing is front spring upgrades. What motor are you replacing? What tranny do you have now? There are a lot of threads on this if you look. (Not saying you haven't already) I have a friend that had a 78 bronco with the 460. Lots of fun. He couldn't get the title straight so the motor went in his 91 flatbed, and the bronco went to scrap.

There's a few posts on the 460 swap, have you tried searching? I put a 460 from an 88 F350 in my 84 Bronco, using the L&L motor mount from JBG ($110). You may need to notch the engine crossmember for the oil filter, or use a remote filter adapter. Your B-W 13-56, NP208 or NP205 will bolt up to a 4WD C-6. Easiest would be the B-W if that's what you have already. JSM84
