I don't have to go through any inspections as my truck is under a self inspection for commerical trucks over 10k registered weight.
I actually got pulled over the other night for not having an inspection sticker but i explain to the COP about why I don't have one and he then came back and said that I was right and he let me go and kinda felt bad I think that he had pulled me over for the sole reason of not having a sticker, I wasn't speeding or acting like a moron. if anything he made it so my dinner was cold by the time I got home.
In NJ, any commerical truck that is registered 10k or over does not need to be inspected by the DMV, you can do it, but you don't have to. Just keep up with normal maintainence and you are fine. I like it that way.
my97 is only regged for 9000 lbs and i should have it higher but don't want to reregister it now. that has to go through inspection every 2 years and has the stock original exhaust on it still. amzing they last that long.
Since the cat-back exhaust i just put on has a 3.5"-5" converter peice at teh exit of the cat. If i just got a stock pipe size cat delete pipe it should be able to just slip in place at where the cat it. Am i right? And if i am, where to get a cat delete for the stock exhuast size?
