What are you looking for? The actual trouble Ford trouble codes? I didn't think you could "load" them into a Scan Gauge II. Their website instructs you to print them out and keep them handy.
In 1996 it was required for vehicles under 8500lbs gvw, in 1998 they changed it to 14000lbs gvw.
We have sold many ScanGauge II's to people with Ford V10's and have never had one returned or anyone tell us that it did not work.

Again, the COMMUNICATIONS is OBD-II.
In the strictest sense, the V10's PCM is NOT OBD-II because it will not do the "right" thing and light the SES/MIL for certain problems. Including MAF sanity, TPS sanity, misfire codes, and lots of other things. This goes against the "OBD-II" standard the Feds instituted because any emissions problems should light the light, and be automatically failed upon inspection.
HOWEVER - it DOES communicate via "OBD-II".
Read the link I posted, please.
There are two divergent definitions of "OBD-II"
1) The electronic interface.
2) The emissions specs (OBD-II) that require the light to light for many emissions-related issues, log certain codes, etc.
There are many instances where "OBD-I" has been used to refer to EEC-V and other pre-cursors to full OBD-II in passenger cars. There are also many instances where "OBD-I" is used to describe a system that operates the same way as OBD-II, but doesn't do the required emissions-related sanity and operating checks.
Good thing because all of us logged on the FORD Truck Enthusiasts in the forum title V10-The Heavy Duty Modular might have been confused by my statement. Which was very tongue in cheek anyway.

That must be why the vary common E-450SD cut away is rated at 14.050 GVWR, they just got over that by 50 lbs.
The 08 are rated at 14,500 lbs, two many MH makers overloading them.
