What does anyone think of this? Its semi local to me. For $800 doesn't sound bad at all except for the no title part, the body damage, and the brown interior. Its a 96 super cab, 4.0, 5speed, 4x2, 93K. Check the link below. I'm awaiting vital info, like a pic of the identification sticker from the drivers door. If its a traction lock 8.8 with a decent gear I might just consider this thing bought!! Or fix it up and sell mine for the lower mileage and biger engine!
What a shame to see a vehicle so abused and neglected. Looks like a lot of work to get it looking like your current ride. The manual shift is a plus! Seeing it so neglected, do you think the engine received regular oil changes? The current owner needs to apply to replace the lost title....you cannot do this.
i wouldnt touch it. its prolly 93k since the oil was changed. someone who treats their truck like that prolly doesnt take car of the drive train at all
You know, rubydist, I do believe you're right. I didnt look at it that close. Looks about 80% like my 3.0. But thats reasoning behind wanting to see the ID sticker. That way I know everything about it!!
do you have a buddy with a shop that could file a mechanics lein on it ?once that happens its easy to get title. I wouldnt buy anything without the title unless the proven original owner gives you a bill of sale. theres no way to tell where its from or who it was stolen from without some kind of documented proof. as to the body work ok that was prolly someones carlessness the windshield was prolly kids busting it throwing rocks .. id just go over it with a fine tooth comb before i agreed to anything
If it was closer to me id consider it for a beater
Wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Looks all beat to hell, I imagine the engine doesn't run good, tranny's probably never been checked and the fluid has leaked out and run down as we all know, I'd bet there's all kinds of issues with it. No radio, carpet, nothing.
