Whats up? I just bought a Bronco today... 1990 XLT. I plan on doing lots with it and it compliments my 97 ranger 4x4 quite nicely. I have a question about the powere windows. the passenger side window doesnt work and I was wondering if there is anything I should look into before I go tearing it apart and replacing motor windows? Also, does anyone know where I could pick up a cowl hood or some kind of hood thats not too overboard?

It could be the switch to the window is bad and needs to be replaced, but seeing as how there's a switch on each door for the the passenger window I'll assume it's the motor. Motors are about $65, but if the motor works and all you needs is the gear it's like $20. Taking the interior panels off is fairly easy... just a couple of screws to take out and then it's a matter of taking the panels off. Also, the window motor is a pain to get to.. there are three screw and none of them are easy to get to. On my truck at least, Ford put little punches in the door (like if you were to take an awl and try to punch a hole in metal) where two of the screws are on the motor. I drilled those two holes out and the job became a lot easier to do.
I was fortunate enough to have a friend help me trade out the motors on the same window. This is more FYI for those reading this at a later date, I hope you've fixed this problem before now. The gearing in the original motor is plastic and should be replaced. It was something easy to replce it with, a common item around the house. I can't remeber whatit was, but If I think of it I will write again.
