I dang sure did - but it isn't on the sticky thread, new people don't know about that story, and I saw another set of them roll into the dealer I work at just the other day.
THEY ARE DANGEROUS!
We know that, and we also know we need to get them off of our highways.
NANKANG et-al deserves a CLASS ACTION SUITE against them...

Well, everyone knows about the detrimental effects time travel has on rubber. They do in my time anyway...you 21st century people sure have some learning to do.
In the future, all tires are Nankang...they won the Great Tire War in the 30's.
...my sister and BIL work in the same field, I'll have to ask them about their experiences with them.

Whups...Nankang Separated on Spring Break Trip
Well, I didn't take my own advice and paid the price. My intent was to replace them before the 2007 season but was short on time so off we went from VA to FL. In GA at a rest area by plum luck I noticed a flap of rubber hanging off the center tread of a Nankang on the trailer. Long story short, bought a new spare and drove on the original never used spare to continue the trip. Now she's at the shop and I'm getting estimates on replacing all 4.

Closed. See the guidelines concerning posting about lawsuits. It won't be a sticky because FTE can't get involved in crusades like this against manufacturers. Not saying I'm doubting you, but it doesn't belong in a sticky. Email me if you need further clarification.
