Head question

I just bought a 1968 F100 with a 302, while pulling it apart to change the cam and intake to a 4 barrel I found a set of 1969 351W heads on the engine that had been rebuilt, I knew it had a set of rebuilt heads. My problem is I know 351W had 1/2 inch head bolts and 302 had 7/16 head bolts....they use the stock 7/16 head bolts....should i pull off the heads and use the ARP head bolts that are designed to put a 351w head on a 302...I have the engne tore down to the long block anyway...I am putting a edelbrock Perfomer intake and camshaft with a 600 CFM holley Carb....Just want to get a little more pep out of the 302....Please feel free to gie any advice.

if you have the arp bolts that are specifically for putting 351 heads on a 302 i would definatelt use them since you have it torn down anyway

Since you are beefing it up, if you have the right bolts or the money to get them you should put the it togather right.
