all wipers aren't working. I have traced the problem to the wiper control module/relay that is behind the right side of glove box. Anyone got a part number for napa/autozone/o'reilly, or is this a dealer only part. Any help is appreciated.
Are you sure it's the relay? Mine, and I have read many other articles, about the switch on the turn signal stalk getting corroded. It is fixable by disassembling the switch and cleaning. Do a search on wipers...
Its the same module after 92, but behind the glovebox, not the light switch on the dash.
If its your relay though, high wipers should work.
I'm going to bet its the switch also, mines screwed up too.
I like the old 91 and newer style with the wipers on the dash. to much going on with the newer trucks. I like simple.
That switch was easier to change also.
Well I traced it down to the relay for sure. I took apart the washer switch and cleaned it and re dielectric greased it. Was all good up to the relay. Called stealership and they wanted 130.00 for a new one...called local salvage yard, and got one for 6 bucks...it works great and BTW you guys are all great!!
