Spring swap question

I had code DG on my 01 Ex with a 7.3 engine. I just swapped to UA. I measured the fender height to get the ride height. Front was 37.25 and Rear was 40. Now when I swapped code UA springs, my front is 39 and the rear is 40.5. Should I do anything to get back the stock rake? Is it necessary for towing? If so, what should I do?

Well you have a few options there. First off what do you tow? Hook up your trailer and see how much the rear squats. If it is not more than an 1" or two, You don't need to do anything. Or You can put some 2" blocks in the rear that won't affect ride quality at all and have back nearly the exact same rake as factory. Or if you tow something heavy, you could put in airbags.

I tow a 8X10 snowmobile trailer with 2 ATVs on it. Also an 8500# Toy hauler. Toy hauler has a weight distribution hitch on it so it is good for keeping things level. Just wondering if I should use taller blocks than the stock Ex block to get the rake where it was or does that matter?

I think it is all a personal preference, I alot of guys put a leveling kit on it to get the stance you currently have. I'd run it for a while and see if you like it. Towing the toy hauler is what will make it squat, and like you said the load level hitch can take a majority of that out.
