reverse sensor
Does anyone have information on repairing the backup sensor. I had problems with mine after an ice storm. Now the Off button remains lit when ever I am in reverse, the sensors are not working. any ideas???

These sensors operate like a series string of Christmas lights, if one is out the system shuts down. Look for obvious signs of damage. The ones on my 04 F150 had the same symptoms as yours...I found the harness connector to one of the sensors was not plugged in all of the way.
Hopefully your problem can be fixed as easily. If not, the dealer can diagnose a faulty sensor.
