Inside my bezel where the gauges are there is a streak inside so I want to remove the streak and also install Incandescent Green Incandescent Colored Bulbs that burn a little brighter than the stock. It should compliment my other gauges and well as the console LED.
Hope you are not planning on removing the entire dash because that is very involved. Here's the down and dirty on the instrument cluster panel R&R, from there the instrument cluster ought to be pretty straight forward.
Instrument Panel —Cluster Finish Panel
Removal
Remove the audio unit. For additional information, refer to Section 415-01 .
Remove the instrument panel cluster finish panel.
Loosen the screws.
Remove the instrument panel cluster finish panel.
Disconnect the headlamp switch, panel dimmer switch, (if equipped) 4x4 switch, passenger air bag deactivation switch, power point, (if equipped) the parking aid switch electrical connectors.
getting to the instrument cluster isn't bad at all, taking out the whole dash is a big project. I took out my f150's dash and there are hidin screws everywhere.
The whole dash or just the lower part for the upfitter switches? there was a write up a while back on how one of the members switched out the lower part of their dash so they could have the upfitter switches and it didn't look that hard.
It does, I have those would you like to borrow them? LOL. They sell them at any auto part store and you can probably just drive to one and they'll pop it out for you. It is a PITA getting the stuff to where you can post it here and they are just some u-shaped rods with hooks cut into them I have removed many a ford head unit with 4 large finishing nails and even coathangers until I finally just bought the tool. No tool is needed for reinstall.
If you still feel you want it, I will post it.

Pulling, or at least unclipping the part of the dash you see is very easy. Don't pull the radio first. Down in the lower corner of the dash by the headlight switch/air vent, pull out on the plastic, and it will start unclipping. Then grasp behind the top of the dash, pulling straight out, and then pull from the instrument cluster area, and then by the radio, and finally it should pop out. Put the tilt steering wheel all the way down and put the gear shifter in 1 if automatic. Then once you have the dash out a few inches, Press the tabs on each side of the radio and pull the radio out, unclipping it and removing the connectors. Then unplug all the connectors and the dash is out.
