Location, please?

When I joined this forum a few years back, it was common for folks to list at least the state they lived in. Now, for some reason I won't explore, few folks list that in their profile. So, their posts don't show it.

I have not answered many posts because I have no clue where they are. Selling (or giving) stuff to someone on the other side of the country is usually prohibitive for shipping costs. Giving a second pair of hands when needed is also difficult.

I promise I won't tap your phone. Please, say where you are!

I am lost in cyberspace!

I agree though. At least the state should be there. It is hard to help sometimes if we don't know where somone is.

It would really be useful and of general interest to see where everyone is.

I agree although I can't figure why mine doesn't show, took a few weeks for just my sig. to appear.

I am going to explore and see what I do or don't have checked or written down.

Found it, I think it is misleading when there is the first location, which it says is not shown to others then the second one in the Sig. area. Most don't read the small print IMO and figure filling it out once is enough.

I'm lost and have gone to find myself...if I do not return send a search party. haha..

Easier for me to say I live near Williamsburg, IA cuz nobody has heard of my town unless you know the area well. Exit 215 or 220 off of I80 depending if you want to get to the home or to the shop.

I agree, Randy. City and state would be nice, it's not like you're giving away any secrets. You may discover a fellow member lives in your area. Stock the fridge before you invite him over, though.
