i have a 78 and an old man told me that it had 373 gears. well yesterday i found out that it had 275 gears. does anyone have an extra 350 or a 373 laying around your shop.

If you can't find one, look around for a truck box/frame that some one has converted to a trailer. I swapped a 2.75 for a 3.50 traction-loc with a guy. Still had the axle tag on the diff, so it was easy to identify. Since it is a trailer, he really didn't care what ratio he had!!
