Diablo Predator U7165 Help!
I just bought a used U7165 from someone and he returned it to the Factory HP tune instead of Original Backup. Yep , you guessed it won't work on My truck says something about License not valid. I can't upgrade the unit from diablo either all it will take is the V.7r84 version. What can I do, I plan on calling Diablo on Monday and I know they can unlock it but I don't have and the original owner does not have the sales reciept I don't think. He is willing to pay for the unlock from Diablo if they will do it. Is there anything I can do? I have heard on this site and others when diablo has talked people through it on the phone when there truck has been reflashed at the dealer and they forgot to return it to original backup. Any ideas? Otherwise I might be screwed. I love Diablo Predator had one for my 2003 powerstroke and it worked great.

The best bet is return it to the seller and let him return his truck to stock or giving you your money back. They will not want to reset it for you for free, but it is possible they would do it for a fee.
