<HR style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff; COLOR: #ffffff" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I'm using a friends unit to monitor my EOT and ECT and what I notice is one the engine temp is between 170-180 with outside temps of mid 30's (is that normal or is the thermostat shot). Also the EOT reads *C not *F and it says the EOT is 49*C that would be 121*F after a 20min drive to work. the other part of this when I use my laptop to do live monitoring and set it for F values I see a - # for the EOT.

Doesn't necessarily mean your thermostate is bad. There can be a few variables. Are you running a fairly "hot" tune. Are you just driving normally etc.

Is there anyway you can get a screen capture of that?

Yea I'll get a screen cap today on my way home from work and post later
ok here is the screen cap as you can see I have two engine coolent temps one about 5*F higher than the other ECT volts, EOT volts and the EOT which is that - number.

That is strange. I hate to say it, but I don't have the faintest idea about that.

My only thought is the lower ECT is the real ECT and the higher ECT is really the EOT and the - value EOT is something else like volts. If this is the case I can't complain about the delta. maybe someone else can answer this, is there two ECT temp sensors?
