you could take an M90 off a supercoupe t-bird and get creative with the induction and pulley systems. The M90 is a pretty small charger for a 302 even, but if youre just grunting around everywhere I would say it might be feasable to use one.....Would work the best on a 300 though. For the price you can pick one up for IMO its worth exploring the ideas' pros n cons.
If you can find and Eaton M112 it would work alot better.
Take a look at this guys gallery! He adapted a M112 to his truck But had to have a lot of custom parts made up. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...een-asked.html
You could put a cent. blower or a turbo on it if you made up the right brackets.
I would think one of the aftermarket supercharger set ups for a fox body mustang would bolt right on with minimal mods. There are enough of them out there that used ones come up for sale around here on a regular basis.
they wouldnt be that easy to swap.....still a little easier than mounting an M112. You would need to pick up all the accessory brackets from a mustang. They are a different set up between the two. Believe me I took a 5.0L from a truck and dropped it in a stang, had to pull all the brackets and put the stang ones back on.
The intake would also have to be adressed, the easiest thing to do would be to get one off a car and put it on your truck, The stangs TB inlet points directly across the vehicle at the pass side. The trucks are a 2 inlet TB pointing at a 45 up towards the drivers side. That could be fixed if you got a front mounted intercooler and welded a reverse y-pipe to the outlet side of it to hook your air box tubes to, they are thick enough with some proper hose clamps that IMO they would hold up to the boost.
Pud: What year 'stang and what year truck motor? Reason I ask is the 94-95 uses different accessory brackets. I've never compared the fox and truck brackets side to side but it didn't look to me like there was much, if any difference. Based on that I used the March alternator bracket for a fox body in my truck as well as a fox body water pump along with the rest of the stock truck brackets and pulleys without any issues.
If I were to do a supercharger on the truck I would probably do a MAF conversion and use the 'stang intake/tb. There are tons of those out there used from both the factory and aftermarket.

Yes definately would do the mass air conversion first.
When did they start supercharging the lightnings was it when the 5.4 was put in them or where some of the 351 supercharged.
