Negative? Where is he negative? Corrections on the leash?
Having seen him in action in person I can attest to there not being any negativity in his personality or his methods. Deliberate, yes. I have tested them myself on my pack of 8, they work very well.
Same with humans, there is not just one method of teaching. I don't always take the positive reinforcement method with my kids. Sometimes they need a bit of correction with the leash.

Yankin' on a leash isn't my idea of being positive, for my dogs, that is.
What you do with your kids is your business.
I just hate to see Millan touted as a panacea when he isn't. He's just currently popular with the Hollywood set.
