Overdrive problem Still
Overdrive button flashes like its new year :S
1990 351W E40D
-when the door is open it flashes in kind of a pattern ( when the car is on )
-when the hazzard are on it flashes the opposite of the hazzard lights
-when i press the brake it comes on press it again it will go off
things iv'e tried
*Full tranny flush 2 months ago
*cleaned the VSS sensor
*any more ideas?

skandocious posted something recently about the dome light fuse being blown can cause the transmission to go into limp mode, and the OD light to flash..

Other than that, I would think mebbe clock spring?

there are two connectors at the trans
clean and check both for full contact
also check all grounds
do you have any drivability issues
read the codes from computer
sensors on the engine can cause issues with the trans

no issues only issues when i press the brake while driving it go's in to overdive and when i press it again it will go off.
where are the conectors? 2morrow i will try to clean them but where are they ?
