Debunk swap rumors pls
Rumor one-
If you have a automatic shift transfer case, you can't use it with a manual transmission, you have to get a manual shift transfer case!
rumor two-
You have to get a new IDM and PCM when you go from an auto to a manual!
Rumor three-
You will have to get new (different size) driveshafts to fit b/c the transmission is not the same length.
Last but not least,
Rumor four-
you can't put in adjustable peddals in the older superduty models!

1. Hmmm I dont think so the NV271 and NV273 both have the same bolt patterns and just need a little programming
2. No just a reprogrammed PCM so it doesn't throw tranny codes
3. not sure
4. The connectors are different and there is no control module but it could be accomplished just wouldn't be the easiest job working it all out.
