So for my B day i got a pioneer in dash dvd player with a screen. It seems like it wont be that bad to hook up, but do any of you guys/gals, knowhow to bypass the ebrake, so a guy can potentially watch it while hes driving?
check out the audio video forum here, I'm sure someone can help you. Be prepared for a few rude comments about how you're going to kill everybody on the road by doing this though.
I personally have had a DVD player hooked up in my truck for over a year now. I love it and will have one in all of my vehicles from now on. I have no issues driving with it playing, but it is not for everyone. I will not let most people drive with it playing because they get too distracted by it and don't watch the road. I grew up watching tv while doing homework, eating, etc. so it doesn't bother me. I usually only put in stuff that I have already seen a few times before, so I really only listen to it, and glance down every now and then at important parts. Comedy's are especially great for this.
Cool thanks for the info man, I totally forgot about that forum! And as for the comments its probably nothing I havent heard before. When i asked the one salesperson about that, they loked shocked and said well that is illegal! I just said to her, well going 1 km over the speed limit is illegal too and I bet youve done that before!
