BTS Tranny! $ 3900.00 6.0 Transmission Cooler $325.00 Add fluids and tax and your there. But you will NEVER have to buy another transmission as long as Brian is around!

Just go ahead and get the BTS. My tranny was dying for the past few months, and I ordered mine before the old one croaked. Good thing too. From the looks of it the T/C check valve failed on me, and the fluid was burning and getting pretty dark.
Now with the BTS in, all I can say is "HOLY $#!% this thing is fast" every time I put the pedal to the floor. This whole time my engine has been making all this power, and the stock trans couldn't put it to the ground.

Cool, pocket i thought you would make the drive to BTS. I didn't know you had it installed locally. Good thing i went there instead of doing it myself, because when we went for the test drive, the TC wouldn't lock, and after several re-test drives with the scanner, a pan drop, the tranny finally came back out at 7:30 and a new pump was put in. He said it was a valve in the pump that was stuck (new, from Ford) that was defective. I also took one fiber and one steel out of the forward clutch pack, brian said i was lucky that i was still driving it. I will have to show you all what it looks like.
