Floor Shifter
I have a column shift (79' Tilt) in my 66' (Auto 5.0) right now , the c6 is cooked and I am going to switch to aod. While I am at it has anyone installed or come across a nice clean looking floor shifter , the b/m megashifter is boxy and not rat rod the Lokar is ok but by the time you buy it and the boot you may as well give up your first born( about $400 give or take).I am looking for simple and clean , tall enough that it is comfortable to manual shift when having fun.

I do not yet know if it will work currently the c6 is rods and i belive the aod will be cable ( 1 TV to the carb ,and a seperate for linkage) I have not done much tranny work and am sponging up as much knowledge as I can before starting. The c6 is nice but with the 3.73's not too good on the highway or even at 50 mph in the city. The aod with a transgo shift kit seems like the best option but I am open too all/any suggestions.
