chrome tow hooks?

i have heard that the stock ford chrome hooks start to rust after a while. i wouyld try to find someone with a set that has been rechromed.... oh, that $67, is that each??

I bought chrome tow hooks off ebay. Had to mod them slightly to fit, but was not a problem. Looks great!!
Dangerous?? what? the chrome may crack if you hook a chain to it, but the tranny and motor will blow before you break one of these.

if ford puts the on their trucks with the chrome package, i would def trust them. they do have a rating. you need to find out what the rating is and hw its rated. i think the ones on my dodge are rated at 5500# each. oh, and i think chrome or not, the bolts would break or the frame would tear before the hooks would be torn apart.
