Anyone have these steps?
I wanted the AMP powersteps but I have other things I need the cash for and I needed to get steps ASAP....my 7 year landed on his butt gettin the truck the other morning on the way to school. lol He wasn't hurt. SO, $300 was easier to justify than $1100 right now.
Anyways, yesterday I picked up a set of SS bars from a local shop that are made by Iron Cross Automitive. The instructions show the mounting plate going inside the rocker panel where large holes are supposed to be. ON my 03 CC I don't see those large holes. They mount using j clip nuts. The j clips go onto the rocker panel and the mounting plates get bolted to them.
I plan on calling the manufacturer when they open in a bit.
