My sound systems usually included a pair of sony explod 12" behind seat and 6.5 in doors. I used a california 600 watt amp and you could just add the two in the corners like about head height with some 3 inch tweeters and use the wires for rear speakers to them.

I don't really have pics, but I could get them for ya later...I've got an amp behind the seat with two "big" speakers, as well as the 6.5's in the door. And updating the dash to take a CD player really wasn't all that difficult.

I'm at work now, but I'll get pics when I get home.

Take a look at 4starcstms gallery. He made quite the custom setup for his Tigger Truck.

You could always get that headliner which includes 4 small speakers and a spot for a CD player. Then put some good 6.5s in the doors and subs behind the seat.

the part tht really sucks is i have the sunroof so i cant add the headliner with the speakers cause i would do that with the cb in the center of it. that would be really cool but the sunroof limits the option does anyone know if that was a stock option, its kinda oldschool. but ya i might do custom door panels so i can have the speakers with the cool speaker guards on them to show them off idk just ideas, pics would be cool thanks guys

Just a note to maybe go look in the audio forum for advice.

All These trucks for many years have the same dimensions behind the seat so the audio forum should have the best info in it

Since when are there sunroofs behind seats?? He put that enclosure behind the seats not in the headliner. Anyway if you have a gas tank behind the seat then you wont be able to...but behind the seat is about the only place you really have for a non stock option.

what i was talkin about was the headliner idea. behind the seat option is about all i have. that option he has is a little much but i would like to do something like that but idk the capabilities of myself or a local shop to do that. is it just a fiberglass mold and what seats do you have that fit infront of that i have the stock bench.

I just have a simple box behind my stock seat...I havent decided where I'm gonna mount the Amp...prolly on the back wall of the cab itself. You could build a box yourself to save money then cover it w/ fabric from a fabric store....theyre actually fairly easy to build....just a couple pieces of MDF board. I'm going to eventually build my own...but till then what I have works lol. I'd post pics but my cameras being stupid haha

^^I still have one of those boxes. I couldn't stand it because the seats absorbed all the sound

Does anyone have the dimensoins for a box that can be made to fit behind the seat? That sounds like the easiest and simplest option of them all. just had the idea about the bump in the seat you say. do you think you could almost drop the floor under the seats and kinda sink two into the floor there or is that rioght above the transfer case. just an idea cuz then you could mount two on each side with the amp in the center. tell me what you think about that idea. and now way am i going to cut the cab like fordguy. looks great but this is also a work and 4x4 truck. need articulation. but thanks tell me what you think about that

I made the maximum size square boxes for behind my seat.

I think they are 10" x 10" so they don;t get crunched with the seat all the way back
