Window sun visor leaks, common problem?

Window sun visor leaks, common problem?
hey guys on my 93 F-150 and my buddy's 95 F-150 both of the windshields leak from the sun visor, it is not from the windshield seal, it dripps rite from the roof onto the rearview mirror then to the floor, can anybody help me out?

Last sunvisor I had had a bracket that bolted to the roof right in the middle. I used gutter sealer on the 2 bolts that passed through the roof (any quality silicon sealer will work, but I like the clear gutter sealer better), and a thin layer under the bracket itself, no more leaks.
