Question Which A/T tire is better??

I need some new tires for my 4WD 96 F150. The size I am after is 32x11.50R15.
I mainly drive on road but like to venture to Tahoe in the winter so I need something to accomodate this too. I've been advised on Micky thompsons, Dick Cepeks, BF Goodrich, Bridgestone dueller A/Ts and pro comp. I have to say I kinda like the pro comp but Im not sure. Anyone help me here?????
Thanks, Shane

ps Whats the best place to buy pricewise?

Hey Shane, I have the Bridgestone Dueller Revos on the Bronco and it does great in the snow in the winter. I live in Mountain View, so I'm very familiar with the winter conditions in Tahoe.

Costco seems to have the best deals on tires here.

I have to second that. . . I work for a shop where I can get dicount tires direct from the major distributor (ATD if you know who they are) and we often tell people that want a deal to go to costco cause we can't touch em on the more expensive stuff (A/T in our sizes being one of those)

I agree with andym, Revos are great tires on and off road. And they (my experience) last longer than the BFG all Terrains...sold the truck they were on, unfortunately, but I'll be putting a set on the F350 before winter.

Best part? They held their balance!
I also like the Pirelli Scorpions, but I have never put them anything I used to pull any weight.

I would say BFGoodrich TA's should be okay, they seem to do well up here in the
northwest snow just fine. (Once upon a time from MOUNTAINVIEW)

I actually have the pirelli scorpians on my truck right now, they have been a fairly good tire for me. I have 30x10.50R15. I am wanting a bigger and a bit more of an aggressive tire to match the 2" lift I recently installed on my truck, I am hoping for something a little more aggressive but also great on road.

everyone truely has there own taste in rubber but a common theme is to stay away from the bfg all terrains.I actually have a set of them on my 94 right now (33x12.50).to say the best , they at least look better than the stock tire. however, forget driving in the rain ,snow, or mud. they would be great in a place that was always dry and paved ,like the desert.......oh yeah, there is sand there...never mind.

JOSHUAPAUL, Did'nt want to say it but i have the bfg's at's on my truck and while they
have'nt givin me any trouble in the snow and rain up here in washington i do honestly
dislike the AT's the MT's may be alright. But when i got the tires i was'nt rich and les
schwabs up here had a set of four 315-75-16 they where getting rid of brandnew for 400$ could'nt pass up on the deal, normally would cost about 1000$. So anyhow i can
save up for what i really want and heve'nt dicided yet.
