Have some short black rubber hoses the go to the lift pump and on or some of them are leaking fuel. Not to hard to replace but how do i bleed the system so i don't end up have to bleed the injectors and the entire system
If you do it while the engine is warm, you might get away with not having to purge the Inj's.
Jsut be quick about changing the hoses , then purge the filter, thru the shrader valve. Hopefully you'll be able to get it running long enough to push any air thru.
here is another way to bleed the system on a warm engine.
it makes a bit of a mess, but works for me.
take off the cap of the shrader on top of the fuel filter.
crank the engine a once, but not enough to start it.
go back under the hood and press the stem of the shrader valve and let the air out.
crank the engine a again, but not enough to start it.
go back under the hood and press the stem of the shrader valve and let the air out.
repeat till you get clean fuel coming out of the shrader valve.
if the engine starts, go back under the hood and open the shrader valve anyhow till ya get good fuel. she'll stumble a little, but come back around when the air is out.
this is not the best way, but i used it many times when changing filters, fuel lines.
