I believe i have blow by with my 2002 ranger 4.0L. I pulled out the aircleaner that was changer 6000mi ago and it had a slight oilly residue on the rubber part and in my air-cleaner tube? Is there something that i can do to fix this or not, Pcv valve junk etc...
any ideas would be greatly appreciated, and also i have been driving it a little harder lately would that cause this to happen or ???????
Hi, welcome to FTE! Boy, do I feel terrible...I somehow missed this post and it never got answered. Hope this doesn't sour you on us and you come back. My bad...
A little blow-by in 6K miles with some hard driving isn't too out of line, but I would indeed replace the PCV valve (if you haven't already.)
