on my 99 f150 4x4 i need the froont gear ratio....they say u can tell by ur vin does any one know or have the same truck and know there gear ratio please help asap

 

WOW your F150 looks awesome whats the specs on your truck.., you can get the info off your doorjam, or the vin# and call any ford dealer and they should be able to tell you, click on the article drop down bar at the top and inter info..click on decoder...

 

the ford has a 3" body lift and the 2inch lvlin kit on 35's nittos on 20's and the yota is bodydropped on 18's

Looks cool, what kind of rims is that.they look trick....I think me and you are the only trucks here to run the 2" torsion level kit, most folks dont like them, which shocks you running..heres a few pic of mine..

 

rancho 5000 somthing the basic ones...ya i got the lvlin kit with add al eafs in back and 3 inch blocks ...but someday gonna get a lift i was lookin at whiplash but have been herin bad things about em ....

 

also i know the dif cover has 8.8 does this help

 

Look on the sticker in the door. It should have a code under axle. most seem to have either a 19 or B9 which is 3.55.

 

Yup...Look on the door sticker for the axle code. Post that on here and someone will be able to tell you what it is. Most likely, it will be a 3.55.

 

under axle it had a 26

 

I believe that is 3.73 open because B2 is 3.73LS.

The front gear ratio will be the same as the rear.
