Went to go to the gym today, 50 degrees out, let the glow plugs cycle, then turner the key but no go. heated the glow plugs two more times, then tried to start again. truck sounded like it would fire, but wouldn't start. White smoke during cranking, along with movement on the tach. Finally started, white smoke that cleaned up to blue. 5 minutes later, exhaust cleared up. Any ideas guys? Truck had set for about 14 hours. Thanks in advance for the help!
Ditto on what amiller said mine did the same thing yesterday, and it was 41 out, so some time this week I'm pulling out the MM and printing the how to on check my plugs & relay.
Thanks guys, the glow plugs sound logical, as I replaced my GPR in january. You guys wouldn't happen to have the link to testing and replacing glow plugs would you?
Ohn between block/Battery ground and G should be between 0.1 - 2.0 ohms
To test the injectors while you are there ohm between C and I should be < 5.0 ohms
