Water ON the engine!

Following a rain--my poor old Bronco (351W 1980) sits outside--water pours into the engine compartment and pools on top of hte air cleaner.I think the reason is that a gutter-like attachment on the firewall (inside engine compartment) that was designed to channel water coming through the hood junction at the firewall has deteriorated.

Can I get a replacement? I assume I can go to a junk yard and see, but what is the name of this piece? Would any paarts off a F-100 or 150 fit this?

You're right.... there is a black piece that's supposed to fit in to work as a gutter / seal. It is attached using the same screws that fit through the cowl panel from the engine compartment side. One from an F150 will work. LMC Truck sells the piece for around $40.00 or so. (I believe it's called a "Hood to Cowl Seal".
