What does this mean? Am i going to have to email them again for a new code?

"Please Note: If you purchased enhanced options, the activation procedure for USB OBD-II hardware solutions is new.
To get codes for USB OBD-II hardware solutions, please connect to a vehicle and retrieve trouble codes. Once that step has finished, go to Help | About. Send the Purchaser Name as normal and the new hardware ID (XXXX-XX) to activation@autoenginuity.com. If you system reports NA then you are still not connected. If it reports 0 then close the window and retry.
All serial customers who purchased enhanced options, please use the normal method as outlined in the Help | Feature Activation screen of the software.
Finally, technical support will NOT make codes over the phone. The new activations codes are 64-digits and we do not have the resources to give 25K customers activation codes over the phone.

You can switch them now on the fly? That's nice. I downloaded and installed the new version, but haven't had a chance to get it on the truck yet. Too much yard work to do kept me busy this afternoon, and now I've got actual work to do before I head to the office tomorrow morning.
Once you purchase it, the updates to newer versions are free for I believe the first year. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I believe all the updates are free. But i think you still can only get 3 enhanced codes a year.Im already at 3,thats why im slow on upgrading to the new version.
I recently purchased AE and had been running 4.4. I talked to AE about updates. I think they are free for the first year you own AE. After that you can upgrade from any version to current for something like $50. That was my take on upgrades.
