1. 05 F250 CC SB-Lariat,33000 miles, Asking $32,900, paint looks good,Needs new tires.BedLiner, Has the 3rd seat option in front,
2. 05 F250 CC SB-Lariat,31,800 Miles, Asking $33,450, small dent in front fender just behind bumper, hard to see as it blends in with the curvature of the body in that area, but its there. Needs new tires. Spray in Rhino Liner, Has the Captains Chairs
Both trucks have the same options.
Lariat/Powerrear window/powerpedals/6cd/ESOF/Chrome Steps/
except Truck#2 has MoonRoof and Rear Backup sensors
How much can I beat them up on either of these, and check out my post here on some service work that was done on one of them. Which none of it I fully understand https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...this-mean.html
Also would like to thank Maximum4x4 for running a oasis for me, and his comments.
I would say those prices are a little high. There is a guy in the Super Duty forums looking at brand new 06s at a dealer and getting quoted prices around $35000.

Went to KBB, Edmunds and NADA.
For Used Truck#1
NADA is ....Trade $31,175....Retail $35,725
Edmunds is (for Clean Condition)
Trade $25,942....Private $29,068....Dealer $32,251
KBB is ...Dealer 36,760, assuming Excl. Condition
Excl Condition Trade $29,500.....Private $33,000
Good Condition Trade $27,815.....Private $31,195
They are asking 32900, Whata think I can get it for?
Assuming the truck checks out ok.
On KBB you'll see three sets of figures. Suggested Trade-in is what the dealer would pay you for it if you wanted to sell it (trade-in)...this is what the dealer pays for the truck.
Suggested Retail is what the dealer (in theory) should ask for the truck. Private sale is just that....no service, no nuthin.
You should pay as close to suggested trade in as possible....the dealer shouldn't have to make much. My 03s numbers told me the dealer made about 300 bucks on my deal which makes me happy because they didn't make a killing on me.
What book does the dealers use?
Seen my dealer pick up their black book before, but Nada is yellow, edmunds doesnt have one, not sure about KBB (could it be blue) or is theirs Black?
The color of the dealers book can change from dealer to dealer. The price you need to be aware of is the suggested trade in. The closer your price is to the suggested trade in, the better the chance that you're getting a good deal.
A really good deal would be getting your truck for less than the suggested trade in. Also remember that the condition of the truck makes a difference.
