T Case
A buddy of mine has a 87 f150 4x4 with 300 stick, the tcase is stuck in low gear. it is a Borg Warner 13-56, what other years will fit in this truck? Does it have to come from a stick trans? Thanks!!!

The 1356 is the same from 87-96 and the bolt pattern for every full size truck regardless of tranny is the same.
Does it shift with the linkage disconnected and shifted by hand?
'92-'96 shifter linkages are the improved version with a sealed cylinder that is better off than the '88-'91 style shifter prone to binding up from rust exposed to the elements.
'87 however I'm not sure what came stock as it was a fuzzy crossover.
Does the shifter look like this?
