Odd Smells

Ok, I have a friend that owns a stock 91 Bronco EB 351w, and whenever we get out there is a strong smell of burnt rubber, he is running on regular 31X10.50's, not sure of the brand but this smell is odd and comes from the front of his car, you can not smell it from in the cab, and there is no visible rubbing on any part of the wells. Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be?

Also, I'd check under the hood. Be sure the belts are tight (and not slipping), although you'd probably hear them squealing if they weren't. Also, check your hoses to make sure they're not making contact with any of your accessory pulleys.

Found the stupid problem, i looked by the headers and the morons who installed his alarm did not put the wires back in the stainless steal braided tubing and the wires were just hanging there by the 200 degre headers.Anyone that lives in sothern california do not go to "Akram Auto Eletric"

Merry Christmas all fellow ford admirers and owners!:-X12
