Disks yes, BUT I'm looking more in the direction of a Pre Runner. There's a couple companies that offer suspension kits for the 65-79s however the kits for the newer I-Beam trucks is a better suspension.
you want to stay with the older i-beams cause they are equal length beams. the newer beam have one short beam and one long beam. you will get alot more travel out of the older equal length beam the the newer ones. there is a company in california called auto fab that make a really good set up for the older ford trucks. you will have a pretty crazy prerunner if you stick to the front end you have.
