just bought 2001 f250 7.3 turbo diesel .Any maitenence advice ,heard somthing about water seperator ,any advice greatly appreciated thanks

And congratulations on the new truck.
I'd strongly recommend sticking around the 7.3L forums for a few days and just read all you can - you'll gleam a lot in a short period of time. Also, check out the link in my sig, "Common Mods and Maintenance" - lots of great info packed in there.

Yep, welcome roost. You can find out just about anything you need here, except how to get the wife off your back about the time you spend here. I have seen some creative ideas here though. I choose the ignore it or wave-off method. If this doesn't apply, then you can really dig in. Congrats on the truck.
