I was just looking at a mag and there is a company that makes a hydraulic throw-out bearing (system ie master cylinder etc)for $450.00. it's supposed to fit major makes...but you have to download a guide or contact them for specifics. its a b&m company...new product.
After careful consideration though, something suddenly dawned on me.
So your in the junkyard, holding a ZF5... freshly pulled from a f250 with an EFI 460... and now all you have to do is find a 400 flywheel... modify some stuff... adapt a few things... fab some other stuff...
Or you could just pull the 460 with the Zf5 and put the whole thing in... Go EFI or carb... blower or not... 'cause the 460 actually has aftermaret support... and end up with a little more power, a little better MPG, and nice stock replacement parts.
