Every morning when I use my remote start it doesnt start because I needs to crack quite a bit to start. After you drive it it will be fine unless you let it sit for more than 9 hrs. Anyone have ideas on what could be going on.
I guess that it's still cold in CT. I would check the glow plug system for proper operation. GPR (Glow Plug relay) valve cover connections (burnt or bent pins/connectors) Ohm or use a test light for the glow plugs and under valve cover wiring harness.
with your long start is it turning over really slow, like it has sat in extreme cold for a long time without being plugged in? if so clean the connection between the hot battery cable and starter, i just had the same issue and now it spins over real fast and starts like a champ.

Sounds like possibly a GPR starting to go south. When you go to start it tomorrow, jump the big terminals for 20 seconds then hit the remote start if it fires replace the relay
The gpr can be bought at most any parts store. I hear NAPA has a good one. There is an upgrade that would be best for people in colder climates but I can't seem to find it now I will keep trying to find info on it. Will keep you posted.
