If I'm understanding the way that this topic is going, driving hundreds of miles for G2G's to have a fund-raising event, IRS tax forms for whomever the collector is, etc, then I'm out. I'll continue donating to the charities I choose, unfettered by whatever is going on here.
Or am I misunderstanding the trend this is taking?

Rex, I think we are on the same page but reading different books.
I was suggesting that as long as we are cooking breakfast for our selves why not put up some signs in the camp ground and invite other campers over for a pancake breakfast? 2.50 or 3.00 a head and we made money for the charity. I think that the little amount of $$ we would make does not require tax papers. Of coarse the food would be free for us? I am confused about this thread so dont chew me if this is what you are opposed to.

One problem I was thinking about was the size of our group will take up a large portion of property right? I don't know how many campers would be out there or be willing to walk into a whole party of FTE members with their big *** trucks parked everywhere to buy pancakes. Not that I don't like the idea, I think it's cool. ust something I was pondering.
