Question Spring thing again!!!

I have a few questions that I can not seem to find an answer too. I keep reading about the v swap for the front and the B swap for the rear. How does the V swap ride for the v10 compaired to the diesel? Is the V swap mainly for the diesel guys? Due the size of the v10 is the little to no difference in the front end weight? I was given a set of f350 rear springs and blocks that were takeoffs. Would these work on a 2000 v10 x?

Rear F350SD springs are the same as the F250SD only difference is that taller block. I believe the diesel is about 5-600 lbs heavier then the V10, but dont quote me on that.

I did the V codes in the front with my v-10. If I was to do it again, I would get the U codes. If I was never towing, I would consider T codes. The ride is a bit too firm for the V-10 and V code springs IMO without additional weight out front.

I am not unhappy, as I use a cargo carrier out front when traveleing with the Travel trailer, and it has 2 to 300 lbs on it, but I think the U codes would be a better ride for me for everyday driving.

For what it's worth, some agree and some don't, I put B codes on the back (pretty sure, takeoffs from an F-350 SRW) and air bags on the front. Raised each about an inch so both front and back have much more travel, thinking about cutting an inch or so off the front bump stops. I haven't pulled the travel trailer yet but did pull a10K (est.) dump trailer and it handled great, much better than before.
