, that is the problem. OEM is the only way to go when is comes to the CPS.

Cps Question.
I Replaced My Cps And Now I Am Still Havinig Trouble. Truck Is Cutting Out While Driving Down The Road Or Dieing If Sitting Still At An Idle. Ran The Codes And The Cps Failed Again. It Did It On Friday And Was Fine Until Today, Both Today And Friday It Was Raining. Is The Water Causing This, Because On Dry Days It Is Fine.

That is most likely your problem. Several others here have had problems with aftermarket CPSs. Your best bet is to return that one and get you a OEM replacement from Ford. You can get one on ebay for around $50.00 if you can wait a few days.

I've had problems with Carquest CPS's but dont know about O'rielly's. If it seems to be occuring more when it rains check the connector closely and add a dab of dielectric grease also check the harness connector over the driverside valve cover
