cummins conversion

finishing up my 1979 f-250 cummins conversion tomorrow is the maiden voyage
just as soon as i can run to the filling station and get some #2
check out some of my pictures and see what you think
i'll post the finished product pictures as soon as possible
It can be done!!!!!

So that is going in a 1979 Aerostar.... hmmmm.... Does not look like an Aerostar.

Looks like a tight fit!

Let us know how it goes! I am in the middle of the same swap. I have the engine and transmission mounted. I need to figure how to do all of the finish work like clutch, fuel tank(s) and drive lines. I'll try to get some pictures up soon.

Tranny

If I did the cummins conversion on my 79, but wanted auto tranny, do I need to get a dodge tranny or will the C6 adapt somehow. Or blow up from the torque?

Looks good Bloodhound you can get good power out of that pump you have.I got 365hp at the rear wheels on my brothers 93 dodge an still gets 21mpg if he keeps his foot out of the go peddle.
